Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating artistic excellence and community impact, where HSA students will transform the Ziegfeld Ballroom into a Broadway production!
We’re delighted to invite you to Harlem School of the Arts’ Annual Benefit Gala, Curtains Up: Harlem School of the Arts Celebtates Broadway on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the iconic Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a sparkling reception, followed by a show-stopping dinner and Gala program at 7:00 PM, and will end with a high-energy after-party with decadent desserts and dancing, featuring the iconic D-Nice.
This year, prepare to be swept into the magic of New York’s legendary theatre district as the HSA Gala brings the spirit, excitement, and theatrical brilliance of Broadway center stage. Our remarkable students—guided by their dedicated instructors—will transport you into the world of bright lights, bold storytelling, and unforgettable musical moments that define Broadway’s legacy. The 2026 Gala will also celebrate the extraordinary legacy of artists, innovators, and visionary business leaders whose work continues to shape the global landscape of arts, culture, and community empowerment.
It promises to be an unforgettable night where Harlem’s rising stars shine center stage—Curtains Up: Harlem School of the Arts Celebrates Broadway will honor Vanessa Bell Calloway (actress, director & producer); Robyn Coles (Tony Award-Winning Producer and Philanthropist) & Dr. N. Anthony Coles (Global Healthcare leader, Biotechnology Executive, & Philanthropist); Jeffrey Seller (Producer of Rent, Avenue Q Hamilton, In the Heights); Anjelica Kelly Watson (Managing Director of Firm Strategy and Execution, Morgan Stanley) & John H. Watson III (Senior Managing Director, Tactical Opportunities, Blackstone).
